Fantastic location just 700m from the ferry/ferjekai in Stranda. Lovely garden and house with lots of flowers and cozy places to sit and relax. The host Randi is a very friendly and down to earth person. There is enough space to park your car. I got the entire upper floor as a solo traveller so plenty of room. The oven/ electric stove took a bit of figuring out in terms of how to temper the heat but it worked out fine in the end. I loved the cracking noises of the floorboards , it gives you a really authentic feeling. The river stream outside gives a calming effect that makes you sleep fast.

The bedroom was large, beautifully presented, and the bed made us melt away. Warm and cosy for the night. Our host was charming and drew the guests together in the most amazing breakfast. This must NOT be missed. Home produce and local delicacies, with good converstaion from the four nationalities present. A return visit would be a must if we can get back to Norway...

The house itself has a nice history presented by the owner and due to its age, it radiates a certain charme. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the living room beautiful. A quiet and peaceful place with a superb location. A ferry harbour only a few minutes away by car. As well a supermarket and restaurants.
