The hospitality of the owners, the food. The 'achar' was amazing in the Khana Set! The owner always welcomed us with a big smile and was ready to answer all of our questions. The location is good, near the gate n°5 which is the nearest to the birthplace of Buddha.

He also helped us sort out our travel to the border and onwards into India. I would really recommend the Lumbini Village Lodge!

It's away from the road surrounded by fields so nice and quiet but just a short walk to the Maya Devi temple. The hotel is clean with very friendly hosts, a real family feeling with home cooked food.
