Wonderfully accommodating, friendly staff with us and our numerous special requests (quiet room, access for our car for dropping off luggage, picking up luggage, our 5 a.m. departure (where our breakfast-to-go even included leftover wedding cake from a really fun wedding that Stari Mayr hosted the night before.

Anna and her family took very good care of us. The room and facilities were spotless. Provided cover parking for my motorcycle. The restaurant menu and food was very excellent. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Short drive easy into Ljubljana.

Had such a lovely weekend here. We came the last weekend of March and split our time hiking and skiing. Although it was the last weekend for skiing (hence very slushy conditions), the location between the nearby resort of Krvavec and nearby mountains for hiking was ideal. The room was spacious and clean. Although the hotel is on a main street, everything was very quiet. They have a lovely dining room where we had delicious breakfast and dinner. They also have an outside patio that is perfect for Spring and Summer. Additionally, there is ample parking. I will definitely return!

Everything was perfect! It was even better, than we expected. The check-in manager - Mojca was really kind, helpful, and extended enormous hospitality in the guesthouse. The location of the guesthouse is also excellent, just in 10-15 minutes by car to Krvavec Ski resort. It was a really quiet place to stay, just perfect relaxation after allday skiing. Moreover, there is an additional place to dry the skiing equipment if your's one is wet. The parking is just near the building, which makes it really quick to get to the apartment. The guesthouse has also a pizzeria in the building, so if you don't want to cook a dinner or didn't bring your own - it is a perfect opportunity. The breakfast is perfect as well and absolutely worth it to try out at least once. However, if you are planning to cook your own food the kitchen in the guesthouse is more than equipped (literally you have everything and even more to prepare a meal). Absolutely recommend this place and hope we will come again! ❤️

We were amazed that this small family hotel was actually located in a old building,with a lot of history.Located right in the old center on the banks of the Sava river.The rooms are very well renovated,quite,modern,very tastefully decorated and really clean.The view from the window is wonderful !Our room overlooked the river and castle. Special breakfast served in the basement of the building in a renovated former wine cellar. This was a great memory and our host was kind to help us in any way we needed. Thank you,will come again !
