The rooms are spacious and well fitted -- they're not the cheapest but rightly so. There is also a restaurant with great food -- I didn't take the breakfast but ordered my own selection and it came out just about the same.

My west-side window looked out over a castellated area with ancient field pieces (cannon) and flower boxes, with a public children's playground adjacent. A short and pleasant walk to the port on the Danube, with one or two nice cafes. Only sign of hostilities while I was there were the heavy vehicles taking grain out of Ukraine.

There is all you may need for staying on any period. We had a comfortable double bed, where my wife with a small kid could sleep, and 2 single beds. Also, the conditioner helped a lot as that night was a very hot and humid evening.
