Absolutely outstanding. Great location, great host and the apartments are massive. Pictures don't do it justice.

This is a great old school hostel like the ones from 20 years ago (that I love) and run by a local family. The building is charming old style with no aircon and a cute patio in a quiet area near the university. Good prices washing machines.

I liked that the rooms were being cleaned every day, I liked the location, as it was outside of the city center so it was quiet! Sue and Johanna were very comforting and lovely. Really exceeded my expectations. There is not a lot of space in the fridge, the kitchen is small but enough as the hostel is not big! There are 4 parking spots. The bus stop is super near! Overall great experience!

Sue and her sister are great hosts and look after everything. If you've got any questions just ask them. The hostel is very clean. Even though it's not in Waikiki there's a bus stop right around the corner and shops in walking distance. As it's close to the university there are also cafés close by. If you're looking for a clean, nice and quiet stay - that's the hostel for you.

If you're planning to visit Oahu and want to stay at Waikiki for a good price, at great location, in a very nice studio with free private parking, and all of that provided by a super great host, then this is exactly it.

location of the hostel was very accessible, It was quiet and we felt really safe walking around the area. Our flight was delayed to Honolulu so we missed out on two days of our stay, however, the staff was very understanding and did not cancel our reservation. We were already so stressed being stuck in Sydney, but the helpfulness of the hostel helped relive that. We are so grateful. The tours they organise too, are so sick! very organised, fun and cheap. We met some amazing people

Great hostel! Sue and her sister are so friendly, they welcome you into their home and you actually feel at home immediately. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Location is great within walking distance of 3 bus stops that have the major bus lines. I loved walking to the beach though (only 30 minutes). Supermarket also within walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood.

Christine Ann on the front desk, what an amazing host! Great location, an easy 1 kilometer walk to busy Waikiki but removed enough to be quiet and peaceful. Nice park across the road, great and private little beach, never crowded. Good views.

Pretty clean place. There are two buildings and I was in a quiet one which was good as I was jetlagged. There were some cool people - but you have to go find them yourself. The hostel doesn’t offer anything social. They do daily tours which are cool and really cheap but they are 6am to 5pm so I didn’t do any as I wanted to surf in the morning. The guy (Tim?) who checked me in was nice and even arranged for me to go in a tad early.

Older hotel which has been upgraded. Quiet rooms. Great location close to beach. Partial ocean view was nice. Free breakfast is a grab and go-not sit down that I was expecting but included a pastry, yogourt, boiled egg, fresh fruit (pineapple, melon etc) coffee or juice-so was actually nice to just take it up to room and eat on balcony. Pool was great with nice loungers and tables under umbrellas. Towels for beach or pool available daily.
