Villa Anita is an evolving art installation studio highlighting local artwork and design. Much of the interior and exterior are built from re-purposed materials. The rooms include eco-friendly bathrooms.

This has been one of the most surprisingly enjoyable stays that I have had in years! Carlo and Jack are amazing, the place is one shiny wonder of art, curiosity and coziness in the middle of the desert. Very warmly recommended (including the music, the food, the breakfast, the comfort)

We loved the food, the hosts, the comfort of our little birds nest, the quiet, the amazing sunsets, the art in every corner, the unique necklaces I bought from Jack (I wear them every day since then and I just love them!)…

Hosts were amazing and the decor extraordinary. Amazing artwork everywhere, some by the talented host, Jack. Had a delicious homemade dinner by Carlo. I don't eat breakfast but had some lovely tea and enjoyed the sunrise from their outside seating area. It's such an experience that I wished I could have stayed longer.

I loved the location in the desert, making it possible to just walk into the dunes and enjoy the solitude. The place itself far away from your average place to stay - it is an art installation, it is an experience, and it is a destination all by itself. The hosts are amazing: artists, cooks, hospitable hosts, and great story tellers. Bonus: You can purchase art and take home with you!

Very nice and friendly owners, very nice hot tubs and swimming pools. Nice and quiet, lovely sky night. There are some cool breweries around, check them out if you are in the area.

The breakfast is awesome. Both the hosts are super nice and welcoming. As an architectural designer, it is a really interesting place to stay to see how a community like this works out!
