Lovely hotel walking distance from Itchan Kala - 2 mins. Family run and they go out of their way to help with everything. Catered for my baby son got milk, washed my bottles etc happily without any problems. Clean room and bathrooms. Made whatever we asked for breakfast. Arranged airport pick up through them which was smooth. Can’t complain and would stay here again. Please note they do not have a card machine . So either cash or bank transfer. However when we tried to bank transfer there was no account number or IBAN so had to go to atm and get cash, luckily the machine had enough . So I do feel cash is most sensible option .

Very nice host, we had some great discussions with him and another guest who was there as well. The guesthouse was not full so we got a free room upgrade into a bigger room. We could have tea and coffee any time of the day, and as we needed to leave early, the host arranged us an early breakfast so really appreciated that. Overall excellent, thanks again!

This was perfect; my first stop in Uzbekistan after a very long trip. Hotel arranged taxi was waiting at airport, owner met me at front door on arrival and had fantastic breakfast ready in minutes. Room was large and importantly dark and cool on a very hot day/week. Very nice bathroom as well. Small personal hotel as opposed to large tourist hotels you often find. Good WiFi. Location is quiet, but only 5-10 minute walk to most major sites in Khiva. I was only in Khiva 2 days (I think that is enough unless you do day tours out of the city) but would have happily stayed at Khiva Amir Tora for several more days just for the comfort.
