We were travelling from Benoni to Natal South Coast this was an ideal stop over for us. We knew the room had a kettle and a fridge but not the microwave. We stopped for lunch b3fore we checked in then had a sandwich later, but the microwave would be handy for people travelling.

There are some renovations done in the lounge but it was quiet as soon as workers left. We had a delicious curry for dinner and a tasty breakfast. We enjoyed walks through the lovely green garden and sat outside on the patio listening to the birds in the riverbush.

The tranquility of the place facing the river front is amazing. As the evening progressed the sounds of wild creatures (bush pigs)could be heard from the river. This must be quite an experience to visit in summer.
