great attention to details in the renovation to this lovely intimate guest house added to welcoming stuff and wonderful breakfast, makes for an ideal holiday. we are telling all our friends about chartfield and will definitely come back

This place is amazing!,,, First off we were greeted so warmly and shown all we needed to know and then we were left to enjoy our privacy. The main widow overlooking false bay left us with hours of watching surfers do their things and the sounds of the surf at bed time was very soothing. The location was perfect….we could walk everywhere with ease. We are so glad that we booked this place for when we return from our road trip around South Africa …we are looking forward to three more days of bliss in this spectacular space.

The Amberley Annex felt like home from the very first minute I arrived. Zelda and her husband are such lovely people and always willing to help. The garden is sheltered from the wind and very sunny. I loved to eat my breakfast or lunch there before or after surfing ;) I would definitely come back again :) Thank you for everything! Lisa

Great accommodation - well equipped kitchenette, friendly owners, great wifi (for remote working) and just 2 minutes from the beach.

The room was light and airy. Well appointed and very clean. Breakfast area was well organized and sociably set out. Location was quiet, away from the main road so able to get a good nights sleep. Our downstairs room also had its own small patio area for sitting out in the sun. The breakfast was brilliant, filled us up for the day!!
