The location along the St.Lawrence River with the beautiful view out of my window and the chairs along the river. A very friendly host with an excellent breakfast served by the exceptional waitress and a competent cook. My third time here and NOT my last!

At Auberge au Poste de Traite you will find a children’s playground and a sun terrace. The inn also provides guests with a view of the Saint Lawrence River. The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

This friendly little hotel on the island of Orleans along the Saint Lawrence. River is a 20-minute drive from downtown Quebec City.

A restaurant from May to October serves market food with a bistro-style approach at lunch and dinner. The rooms were clean and had beautiful views! The front desk attendant was so kind and helped us to maximize our stay.
