Our family loved the house and decided that it was the best accommodation we stayed in during our 10 days tour around Costa Rica. The house is clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped , located near the beach and easy walking distance to everything you need. We visited Jaguar rescue (5-10 minutes drive) and loved the tour Very Much! It’s one of must to visit in the area but make sure to book ahead

At the guest house, units are equipped with a private bathroom. I absolutely loved staying at Salamandra, I ended up staying a lot longer than originally planned! Jose and Silvia are incredible hosts and I felt so at home there, but I also had my own space and privacy. The breakfast was always great, and almost every night I ate dinner with them too, was so good spending time with them. Their house is set in the most beautiful garden with so much art, plant and wildlife, with a little river and a lovely outdoor space I used for yoga in the mornings. It really feels like paradise. Jose made sure I had everything I needed, moving furniture around to give me a desk in my room. Can't recommend Salamandra enough if you're in the Caribbean region!

I enjoyed a comfortable sleep and was treated so kindly by the owners, that I will not forget them. I definitely recommend Cabinas Hukats Secret Jungle. What a local gem!!!

It is set 39 km from Ebal Rodriguez Stadium and provides a housekeeping service. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Ronnie and Anita are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for rafting the Pacuare, and the food was delicious. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but they are certainly sufficient, and in-line with the cost. We spotted toucans, poison arrow frogs, and even a sleeping jaguar in a tree in the wilderness path behind the property.

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and full of trees that attracted local wildlife like sloths and toucans. Pool area was pristine and the the hotel very secure.

Ive visited CR many times since 1985 and this was my BEST STAY EVER.QUIET away from the crowds now in Cahuita but close . Staff is wonderful helpful and it is very clean. Highly recommend.wildlife every morning..monkeys parrots tucans iguanas lizzards..Saw no snakes. They have two dogs on patrol.
