Casa Loko is a great location on the West side of the Nile, very close (10 minutes walk) to the boats crossing the river to the city center (Luxor museum and Luxor Temple) and also quite close (15 minutes drive) to the historical sites of the West bank. Peaceful environment (far from the noise of the city center). Small building with 4 large cosy apartments and a swimming pool in a nice small garden. Mohamed, with his brother and his son, are so kind and made our stay one of the best ones we have ever had, helping us preparing our visits, cooking us food when needed and always caring about us and the kids.

Certain units in the guest house have private entrance and are equipped with desk and wardrobe. Some units feature a seating area and/or a balcony with an outdoor dining area. In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. The place is nice and cozy, and the location is close to the boat station to the east side. The private boats go directly to Luxor temple ( the private ride is 50 le, for a public boat you need to walk a bit further). There are 3 rooms on the floor and 2 separate bathrooms. Everything is clean and maintained. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom and toilet paper, you will get towels as well. Staff is very friendly, hello to Ibrahim the hotelier and to Hassan. Breakfast was good: omelet, 2 type of cheese, vegetables, yogurt, jam, bananas and bread.

Overlooking the Valley of the Kings, Scorpion House Luxor features accommodations with a Nubian décor. It offers free Wi-Fi in some rooms and a sun terrace. An airport shuttle is available upon request. So far this is the best accommodation that I have stayed in Egypt. is like a home stay , owner very friendly and best thing is they make the best local Egyptian food. very genuine and sincere. I think this is a must visit in Luxor, better than 5 stars hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is very close to the tourist site of the world. The food was very delicious. The host, Mohamed, is a wonderful person. The location is nice, good and very quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. They helped us organizing the trip and provide us drivers. We were two girls travelling and we felt safe and very taken care off. Also good food and nice view! Definitely we are going to visit again! If we could give it 100 stars we would.
