Instructions to get in were fairly strait forward. The rooms were as described - a good sized queen and separate single with adjoining bathroom. I'm sad I didn't get to try out the awesome bath but the double shower was great! The location is excellent, with a short stroll to many eateries and the main shops etc. Mini bar fridge was appreciated.

Rooms at Meadowcroft are traditionally furnished, and benefit from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is storage space in bedside chests of drawers and a wardrobe in every room. Very nice and cosy room with kettle, tea and coffee. Debbie (the host) is very lovely lady, and it was really nice chatting to her every morning. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The location is very good as it is close to the main road and easy to navigate around. The bus stop is also nearby which is perfect as at times it is easier to just take the bus instead of a car.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Ambleside Townhouse offers free car parking and a lock-up area for motorcycles and bicycles. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The breakfast was delicious, a good variety of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is nicely decorated and our room was very pleasant and comfortable. I absolutely recommend a stay here.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

The Westbourne serves traditional English breakfast. Guests can also relax in the conservatory or comfortable lounge with real log fire. Sue & Andre were exceptional hosts & presented accomodation that was very comfortable, providing everything we needed. Central location in easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants, the lake & pier. On-site easy parking was a bonus. Andre helped us with walking options, Elterwater & the Langdale valley were a photographers dream. Thanks so much for adding to my memorable holiday with my daughter.

Benefits also include an en suite bathroom, designer toiletries, and a hospitality tray with fresh coffee milk, teas, and biscuits. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

Really close to Coniston with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

The bedrooms were so clean, spacious, cosy, and modern. The beds were so unbelievably comfortable! The staff were so welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make you comfortable. The food was exceptional! Would highly recommend it to anyone, we'll definitely be going back!
