Location - close enough to both the hub of the village for shops, bars and restaurants and the many walks on your doorstep. An easy walk to the lake is 15/20mins depending on pace. Room - the room I had was large, clean and tastefully decorated with a huge bed. Hosts - Mandy & Adie are incredibly welcoming and are great for local info or guidance on your plans. The cooked breakfast is awesome and sets you up for the day!

Brantfell is an ideal base for exploring the Lake District and for activities such as rambling, climbing, cycling and water-sports. Ambleside has shops, pubs and restaurants.
