We needed logistical help arriving and departing, and the owners personally helped with their local knowledge. We are grateful to our hosts and have already booked another stay!

Perfekt location for exploring the Backwaters by boat or kayak. Especially the 2 hosts made our stay a highlight of our vacation. The rooms are equiped with everything you need.

We had been traveling all day and after checking in late, he brought us up a bowl of fresh fruit because we didn't give a solid answer on if we had eaten or not. So sweet! 10/10 recommend doing the backwaters tour with him. It is such a special experience. His friend Valentine does a beautiful tour and dinner.

With a balcony, each room has a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Some rooms have air conditioning. I had an amazing stay at Mango Villa. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe, Damini and Anmol are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are big and clean and have a beautiful balcony. It is perfectly located (2 min. walk to the cliff). I ended up staying here 3 times, I found it to be the best homestay in Varkala, I would definitely recommend it! :)

Magnolia Guesthouse is a little piece of beautiful heaven 🌸💫 We absolutely loved this place - the beautiful garden with flowers and butterflies, pool area, our terrace with a seaview, the delicious food and especially the staff. They are so sweet and took such good care of us - they felt like family. Thank you so much for everything - we'll come back for sure!

It was such a wonderful stay at this property... The food was simple yet delicious... Rajagopal,the owner of the property was so friendly and took us to the nearby falls by a small trek which was tremendous.. we had the best time there and would again visit... I highly recommend this property...
