Comfortable, clean and colourful room. The staff are very friendly and helped to organise transport, as well as a tour of Munroe Island - which was a great morning out. Homestay is in a really peaceful location by the lake.

I travelled with my friend. And what we love about the property is the location next to lake.. and away from all noises… feel like staying as local person… And very close to the nature.. The staff was also good. Check in was smooth. A person did ask about tea and coffee.. and he made sure to make the tea the way i wanted… 😄 Joseph also arranged breakfast for the next morning upon request and was helpful about the information we needed. We enjoyed his hospitality. If you want to spend time with nature and urself this is the place.

Hard to find any faults really. The “cabins” are solid and comfortable and quite characterful with exposed brickwork and outside seating areas. The lakeside grounds are great for hanging out in the shade on a hot day - especially if you like a hammock. Staff are extremely amiable & helpful. Prabhath the owner took us into town to show us the annual schools dance festival - unmissable if you’re in Kerala in early January! Trips, onward travel etc all can be arranged and plenty of advice is available. No food prepared on site other than toast & jam for breakfast - but help is at hand to get food delivered from local restaurants (cash on delivery) if you don’t want to go into town.

Perfect location in the nature, at the lake. Tuk Tuk to Kollam City: 100 INR. Very friendly owner and staff, very service-minded. Good advice for standard trips: 2 hours ferry boat ride, Munroe Island. Priceless advice for a local festival with an Elephant parade an a lot of dances.

Beautiful setup of the room, terrace with view of the garden and a nice breeze from the lake, peaceful and relaxing. They offered hammocks in the garden and a Kajak free of charge to explore the lake shore.

Very nice and helpful staff. Amazing value for money. Really nicely located next to the lake with hammocks spread around in the garden. We were even given a complimentary ride on a boat to the bus station on the other side of the lake

This is a very travellers friendly hotel. It's right by the lake and has a lovely green garden full of palm trees and other greenery. Hammocks between the trees and also a canoe. All the rooms have a private terrace with table and chairs. Large and spotless clean room with an excellent bathroom. Friendly English speaking staff. Excellent WiFi, coffee and tea sold by the pot, and cold ones in the fridge. Can't get much better than that. They arrange tours to Monroe Island as well. The hotel is far from town, but you can get there with a local bus for just 10 RP, either from the main road just up from the bus station, or from the school junction where you can jump off your incoming bus if you are coming from the north. Best place to stay as the town centre has completely lost all its travellers atmosphere.

I wanted a backwater trip to Munroe island which they organised for us and cooked us chapatis and Dahl which was great. He even was able to recharge our Sims. The property and location were great by the lake.
