We were met by Asai who explained everything we needed to know including payments, food options, rentals etc. Bungalows are lovely and have a fan which was absolutely fine for us. There are only 6 and they are spaced out from each other so you feel you have privacy. Each bungalow had a nice outdoor seating area. The restaurant served amazing food, we had breakfast every day and dinner once and was really good with very, very generous portions! It's also a lovely setting and if you climb a few stairs there is a rooftop platform for lounging on. Kayaks are available for rental which would be perfect as the property is based amongst the mangroves, unfortunately we didn't get to to this as they were booked out! And yes, the river otter is still there and very cute! You will hear him coming when the dogs go mental lol. As per other reviews it is in a rural location, however based on our research of reviews and being able to ride bikes, this was no problem for us. However even if you don't drive, its a great location for just chilling and relaxing! Property can also support you with tuk tuks to and from the pier. We had a great stay, thank you to Lin, Asai, Lily and family!

Every corner of the guest house is art! Room is quite spacious, view is amaziang. I totally enjoyed my stay in Firefly guesthouse. I'm sure I will come back one day!

Located just a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach, Bong's Guesthouse M'Pai Bay offers accommodation in Koh Rong Sanloem with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as luggage storage space. This beachfront property offers access to darts. Guests can access the guest house via private entrance. I stayed there for 6 nights, and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only was the room super comfortable, but the location was perfect. Dining at the restaurant is the best; the food is delicious, and I tried a bit of everything. And the staff is the best—friendly, helpful in every way, and a great atmosphere. Loved it.

The owner and assistant are super helpful with everything. They go above and beyond to make sure you stay is enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

You get there after a short but strenuous hike (depends on your luggage). Next time we will get probably  the offered pick up service to make it a bit more easy. Nice staff, clean rooms, great food and good wifi. Will definetly come back again!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Nice local small village on the north part of the island. Everyone was fantastic and made sure you had everything you needed. Lonely Beach is close by along with a few restaurants all walking distances. If you truly want an authentic village outside the touristy area come here it will not disappoint!!!

Set in Koh Rong Sanloem, Seashell Guesthouse, bar and tattoos offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach and offers various facilities, such as a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Perfect little seafront guesthouse for backpackers. The owners just finished renovating the place. M'pai has great spots for swimming, snorkelling and plankton swimming, a great variety of really good restaurants and an extremely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. In that environment, the owners created a lovely, simple and creative, affordable guesthouse. There are fans and curtains in every bed of the dorm and they have two small rooms for more privacy as well. They are genuinely nice and super helpful so all in all we had a great time staying with them.
