Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. The 5-acre organically managed property runs on a hybrid energy system including solar and grid energy. We had a great stay with my friend at Ananda Guesthouse! The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

The location is great, walking distance to the surf break and some local restaurants. Marc however also cooks delicious meals himself!

The communal kitchen is well-appointed. The wifi coverage is excellent. Poppy the dog and Blimp the cat are adorable ambassadors. Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.

Boasting water sports facilities and views of sea, TwoTen° Surf Home is a recently renovated guest house situated in Popoyo, a few steps from Popoyo Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a patio with views of the garden. The location is ideal. It is steps away from the beach and a short walk to a number of restaurants - many of which prepare my girlfriend's favorite dish, pescado entero. There is a small store across the street, and trucks selling fruits and vegetables pass by a few times a day. The property itself is very well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are a number of tropical plants and flowers lining stone covered paths.. All of which you can enjoy while lounging on a hammock in the shade of the porch outside your accommodations. But the best part is the host Ben, a friendly and easy going surfer who gets up early for dawn patrol at the reef break just across the river. A host in the truest sense of the word, he makes it his mission to ensure his guests have an enjoyable stay. He anticipated most of our needs without us even having to ask, responded right away to any request, and was able to answer any question. He even organized and led a boat trip for us and fellow guests to a hard to reach surf spot.

I arrived after dark, and left at sunrise, so I didn't really have time to take advantage of the hospitality. Enjoyed the gift of bananas.
