Bardia Eco Friendly homestay is in a beautiful location, the family is super friendly and the tours they host are great. The room is very clean and comfortable and the meals ars very tasty! Would definitely come back.
Lovely staff, good food. Simple accommodation - but v cheap. Bardia is stunning. Staying in the community treehouse was fantastic after a walk through the jungle. I felt welcomed. Borrow a bike and cycle into the village. Knowledge on local nature and passion for this is fab!
Fantastic place, in a quiet area and very close to the jungle, the family is very very welcoming, the rooms are very clean and the best place where I have eaten in Nepal in the month that I have been here, typical products and everything created by their hands, which in my opinion mine and the best thing of all. From the first day we managed to spot tigers, rhinos and even a group of elephants which is very rare to spot in a group.
What a fantastic stay! We loved being here! We spent our first two days with our host on a Jeep and walking safari! Baba is so knowleagble. We had nothing planned before we arrived just our bus ticket and room, and it was so nice, basic, but just what we like. This is the first ´eco´ hostel that we stayed in that does what it says here in Nepal. The staff are enthuastic about conservation of the wild life but this also reflects the culture at the hostel. We will be back1¡1
The property was very peaceful, very quiet, very clean & this beautiful family took such good care of me. 3 meals a day available all cooked with ingredients from the village surrounding & rice from the rice fields you sit right next to. The bed was so comfortable, room spacious & overall a very peaceful, relaxing experience.
Shardul and his family are very friendly! They will organize everything that you will feel like home: - Great walking & jeep safari - tasty food - attentive host - lovely family & homestay - beautiful landscape I can highly recommend this homestay!
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. This place is the most affordable in the area with rooms with air conditioning, hot water and mosquito nest, which we loved. The restaurant menu was cheap too compared with other places we had stayed in the area. The staff is very friendly and goes beyond to help you (bought and took us to the bus station when we left).
Great location right near the park entrance. The guides were great, really enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Bit pricier than other places but you know you are getting a good guide. The food was good too. Accommodation is basic but has everything you need.
The food was delicious, Sarita's cooking is the best. The host family was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. They were extremely kind and helpful and bent over backwards to make my stay perfect. Shardul the son is also a bardia guide, a very good one
Great location and a lovely home. Shardul was an extremely helpful and friendly host and sorted everything for us. The food was consistently delicious and fresh and the best service I've experienced. Room was spacious, cool and clean. The walking safari was a highlight and we even saw a tiger so a big thank you to our guide. It was also grea value for money. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Bardiya :)
