Bernard and Linda proved excellent hosts with excellent communication. Location was close to the beach,vehicle hire, and happy hour at the yacht club. I would definitely book again when I visit. A little Gem.

Set amongst tropical gardens, Bungalow Bali Hai offers renovated accommodation in Fare, less than 500 metres from local shops and restaurants. Guests can relax on the large wooden deck.

Guests can practice yoga or meditation in the quiet surroundings or ride 1 of the 2 bicycles provided into town or to the beach. The property is located a short stroll from the town's main center where you can find shops, cafes and roulettes. The property was extremely clean, well kept and we could have stayed a few more nights. Everyone we met on the property from the owner's daughter (Tamarind) to the caretaker was extremely friendly. Not being a native French speaker is challenging but meeting Tamarind who is also Australian was a delightful connection. You must meet their super sweet dog Lunar who will become your best friend with fried chicken :)

Fare Ara Location Huahine is 5 minutes' walk from both Mati Beach and local restaurants. It is 20 minutes' walk from Fare City Centre and 8 minutes' drive from Huahine – Fare Airport. Airport transfers are available, on request. Great location, close to the village and beautiful beach. Nearby there is an agency where you can book excursions! Very friendly staff, the transfer to the airport and pick up is included! On arrival there is homemade lemonade, jam and butter and on departure they offer the flower necklace! Every morning there is a fresh bread waiting for you on your terrace! Absolutely amazing place!

Each bungalow features a terrace with outdoor seating. They include a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some also have a well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette with an oven, stove and microwave. This is perfect for me. Very quite, sound of the waves, proximity to beaches and food. A million times better to me than a 5* palace. One of a kind.
