Guest house Stara lipa Tašner - free parking is located 1.2 km from the Pohorje Ski Resort, and 4 km from the centre of Maribor. You can relax on the terrace, by the garden, or in the shared TV lounge. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Exceptional approach from the stuff, very kind attitude, room was very clean, room was prepared and all was very well arranged. We have some problems and we have been allowed to stay in room a little bit longer. Big thanks for the kind approach.

Situated in an idyllic village Jurij, Guest House Vračko is set just 1 km from the Austrian border. This family-run property dating back from 1908 features an à-la-carte restaurant serving traditional meals, seasonal dishes, fish specialties and quality wines. The rooms were very large, modern and absolutely spotless. The owners and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The attached Restaurant is well worth the visit with great wines from just around the corner and the dishes go well beyond what one can expect on a country side stay. We were a bit worried about the windows facing the road, but they are isolating well and there was hardly any traffic. Wonderful green nature all around.

Surrounded by greenery, Tourist Farm Joannes is quietly set in Vodole. It offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned accommodation and a big vineyard. Maribor, the second largest city in Slovenia, is 3 km away. Gregor is an amazing host and chef. Very clean and comfy place. Not fancy, but has everything you need for a peaceful stay.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The room was simple and modern. The breakfast was fantastic! So so good with the options and best poached eggs we’ve ever had. Convenient to stay there if dining, which we did and it was superb, the food is amazing! The room itself was quite basic, no bottled water, our bathroom door didn’t shut properly, and the aircon in the evening wasn’t switched on so the room got very hot - we opened the window but then the traffic noise from the road next wakes you up immediately! And some people speaking in the early hours (4am) outside the room kept waking us up so didn’t rest well unfortunately.
