Historic centre, restaurants, beach, wild horse tours all in walking distance. Cozy bar and restaurant at the Inn.

The Inn on Pamlico Sound has free bikes, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Buxton. With a bar, the property also features water sports facilities, as well as a private beach area. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. Our room with its own patio was beautiful. Location was great, staff was very kind and food was excellent.

KD by the Sea, is hosted by Katy and her husband who were both super friendly and very helpful. They answered all our questions about the local area and even offered to make us some supper when we arrived early evening. The room was spotless, had been lovingly decorated and it was clear that a lot of thought has been put into making guests comfortable. For us it was a wonderful change from the ubiquitous hotel rooms found everywhere.

The apartment is cozy and close to the water. As the host has just started renting it out some things might not be perfect yet but when you need anything he will make sure to get it immediately (We needed extra sheets for the sofa to use and a kettle and we got everything right away.) Communion was perfect, easy to find and get in. There are even two bikes you can use, the kitchen is small but stocked with everything you need. We had a great stay. Thanks again for having us and your great hospitality!

Breakfast was amazing! Best we have ever seen at a hotel. Outdoor pool was open which we were not expecting. Indoor pool warm, hot tub was nice. Great location. Quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the cookies at night.

Great location. Easy to get to Manteo, Kitty Hawk and restaurants. Room was on the first floor facing the ocean. Just step outside your room and the beach was right there. Great sitting on the outside patio floor and watch and see the sunset and hear the ways. A little noisy hearing rooms above, but nothing to complain about. The morning breakfast was good, with waffle machine, muffins, and enough cereal, toast and standard food to get the morning started.

Great location. Been coming here for years. It is very dated and needs more than cosmetic attention. Beds were lumpy, wore out and unsleepable.
