Our room was very nice, clean and very spacious, bed and pillows comfortable as well. Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit, waffles and eggs.

The Hampton Inn didn't have any rooms at their location to accommodate us. The manager however worked with their sister hotel the Hilton Garden Inn next door and was able to get the rooms we needed for our stay. We were very applicative since we needed somewhere to stay. Their breakfasts, cooked to order and also buffet style is amazing. Their evening receptions with free bar drinks and snacks are very welcoming. Basically the breakfast was the same everyday. The plastic silverware pack was the worst. So cheap. I would love to see a Hilton executive try to cut a waffle or sausage with the knife. If they did they would update the utensil package to something more suitable.The location of the hotel was good. It was about 20 minutes from the River Walk.

We first stayed for 2 days at Hilton Garden Inn just in front and ended up moving to the Best Western for the Friday night, as it was less expensive, by a lot. We preferred the Best Western and thought we should have stayed there from the start. It was really comfortable and the rooms are well designed. Great location too. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment but it is a plus that it is included.

Booking.com messed up my reservation by not letting me know that my credit card had not been processed but the hotel was still able to accept the given rate and give us a different room at the last minute. Very unhappy with booking.com but thrilled with the service at the Hilton Garden Inn.
