I have found many wonderful properties through booking.com -- but this may be the best in terms of location & comfort. Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

The Cottage is really a wonderful place. Not just the Cottage itself, nicely restored and decorated the whole setting with the lovely gardens is just really nice. Also it's a great place to look at the wine destinations near by. Nice coffee machine and a very welcome treat to some tim tams.❤️😁 The kitchen has all you need and more. Thank you for having us. The homestead is very clean, quiet and has all the amenities. The fridge was stocked with bacon, eggs, bread and all the extras needed for breakfast. It's a great location to base a weekend in the Adelaide Hills or Barossa Valley for an adventure. You will not be disappointed!

The accom was very clean and the bedrooms were large. Thoughtfully provided throw rugs mirrors etc which was greatly appreciated. Comprehensive instructions on how to use the facilities was great. Beds were warm, welcoming and comfortable and the linen, towels, pillows etc etc were all good quality. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend the accommodation with advice about the limitations I have noted below.

The bathroom was magnificent. The breakfast was fully provided, with bacon and eggs, homemade bread, honey and mulberry jam. Tea and coffee also provided. The room and outdoor setting overlooked the gently rolling hills of the Eden Valley , complete with pet sheep Bill. This place is not a 5 star resort, but truly a delightful rural retreat.JudyYoung couple
