We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Gite Chez Mimie and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Alsaces / Munster Valley region. Wow, what a gem. Mimie gave us a warm welcome, and the place is very cozy and charming with everything you could need. The kitchen is well-equipped, the Wifi is fast enough for teleworking, and the beds are super comfortable. Hiking in the region is excellent, with many trails accessible without even getting in your car. The sauna is superb, the views from the deck are gorgeous, and the daily visiting deer really added to the ambiance. Fall is an excellent time to visit! I told the owners that this stay was a surprise gift for my partners birthday. The hosts welcomed us with a botlle of sparkling wine and homemade bisquits. Very toughtfull! We came to do some hiking in the area and you can start several beautifull walks from the house. Lovely abundant breakfast with more than enough leftover to take with you on your walk for lunch.
