This beautifully renovated "barn" is a perfect location to discover the Pyrenees by foot or bike. A bit hidden behind the church (and up a short but steep hill), it's located in the small village Beaucens, just a few kilometers away from the bigger village Argelès-Gazost and at the foot of Hautacam. There are three nicely decorated and big rooms, one has its own bathroom with toilet. The other two rooms have to share one. On the same floor you also have a small relax area with a couch and the television. Stairs down you have a big open kitchen and the eating area. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. Outside there is a small garden area which is separated from the house & garden of the hosts (and gives thus some privacy). You will find there an eating table, a gas BBQ, a lounge and... a natural bubble bath! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Before our travel we had some communication via booking.com and also on location, they helped us and passed by for a friendly chat. The keys were in a small safe with a code. There was a cake and some chocolates as a welcome present, but also coffee and other supplies were already present!

Lovely property in a lovely village location. The Gite has excellent views across the valley, with a wonderful large balcony to soak up the sun, relax and enjoy the tranquillity; and a garden and patio to the rear. Nice large comfy sofa for evening relaxing. This Gite was ideal for our biking holiday, perfect location to tick off all the great bike climbs, and also to visit other local towns and villages. You can also walk into Agelez Gazost the walk or run is up pretty much up all the way but enjoyable. We would stay here again.
