I am still finding it difficult to adjust to the prices of fairly ordinary accommodation in Scotland and much of England. Having travelled fairly widely recently across Europe, Scottish hotels do not compare well in terms of value. However, judged by the competition, it was a reasonable deal. The staff were keen to help, the room was very clean and everything worked as it should. For my purposes it did the job well.
