Lovely place with lots of character but with a very modern and comfortable and well-appointed interior. The village pub (next door) is very handy after a walk, and there are lots of nice walks from the door. Gilling West is Ideal for nipping into Richmond which is only three miles down the road. We will definitely return!

Great little cottage in a very convenient location close to the town centre but far enough away to be quiet. The extra heaters were very welcome as the weather was absolutely perishing. We had everything we needed for our stay including instructions for all the appliances. Excellent value for money. We have recommended the cottage to all our friends.
