We were so happy to stay at this lovely property. From booking to check out everything was perfect. Our host was a whatsapp away to answer any questions and she provided lots of local info. The layout of the property is quite remarkable. Its a small space but everything is so well thought out and planned. There was a full length mirror - something most places forget. Great lighting. The parking is easy, but one word of advice. You stop on the high street to unload - all good. You then drive around the back of the shops to the municipal car park - all good as per instructions. BUT, even though you have been advised by your host, be VERY careful to choose a bay that allows free 20 hour parking. These bays are plentiful, just read the signs and you'll be fine

We had a great stay.

we were met by Bill the host who showed us round the property, it was warm and the log fire was lit, Bill explained that he would come in next morning when we went out to relay the fire and if not back by 15.30 would light it for us. this was so welcome after a day walking and cycling. And the fact that deer appeared every morning in the garden made are stay

    Arrived in time for late lunch, very helpful staff, good service excellent food. Checked in with very friendly and helpful staff. Went to an evening function at the National Motor Museum and returned in time to enjoy the bar. Breakfast was excellent, full English was just that, well cooked and tasty and, once again, very helpful staff. The (single) room was perfect, bed comfortable, choice of pillows and very clean ensuite, really couldn't ask for more, exceeded my expectations! I will return for a longer stay!

    Excellent stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Room was very clean with excellent facilities and breakfast was great. Homemade shortbread was yummy too!

    Very clean. Lovely little holiday home. Polite hosts, very interactive and respond quickly to questions. Had cutlery and all the essentials there. Amazing location.
