The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was spacious and bright. The dining/kitchen had everything you needed to prepare, cook and enjoy your home cooked food or prepare a picnic. The lounge was lovely and cosy and prefect to relax in after a busy day. The bathroom was ideal, presented with a wide long bath and a shower which was easily adjustable in height. A special touch, Thank you for all the treats on arrival, homemade bread, crisps, cookies, teabags, shortbread, jams, milk and a thank you heart gift.

Property has been done to a really high spec, All mod cons but retains the cottage feel. Super warm and cosy, we didn’t want to leave. Hot tub is a treat, didn’t have to warm it up either it was ready to go! Have to say well done to you both it’s a fabulous getaway! And it’s like a tardis inside. Quite deceiving. Beautiful views and outside seating area.

We were very impressed with the quality of the apartment for the price as it was very luxurious. It’s a shame it was raining during our stay as the courtyard had a giant Chessboard and our son really wanted to play! We also enjoyed the Peacock and hen that roam around.

However it’s kept very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the house keeper Jane, who was welcoming and friendly. we also came across Chris & Andy who gave us help/ information with the local area and spoke enthusiastically about the grounds which was very interesting and we could tell they enjoyed their work. The local area was very close with local shops and restaurants, and of course beautiful walks throughout the dales
