The view from the top of the steep hill is spectacular; from every room one can see the ocean and mountains. It is very quiet and private, and the property is lovely. The washing machine was not as large as I had hoped but the shower was fine. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Parking was ample and easy on the property. There are excellent restaurants a short drive away. The kitchen could use a few more items for preparing meals. Four of us spent two nights quite comfortably.

The property was very well located, very clean and well equiped. The traditional house was.quiet and charming with it’s own courtyard and located near to Archanes central square where we ate each night in the open air. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Our host was easy to contact and very helpful. A great base from which to explore Crete.

The hosts were very communicative and and welcoming. Grapes, jams, drinks, waiting for us. Wonderful setting, wonderful modern house, lovely village with lots to see and do, not to mention excellent restaurants. And there was a Minoan Palace being unearthed across the street!

From the moment we arrived, our contact person Konstantinos warmly welcomed us and provided us with assistance throughout our stay. The maisonette was very clean, comfortable and has a collection of beautiful antiquity objects representing various regions of Greece. Each item seemed to have its own unique story to tell, adding an extra layer of charm and authenticity to our experience.
