Fantastic villa on top of a hill. The villa has a nice garden and we very much enjoyed the evenings in the patio. Since the moment we booked our stay, the hosts had even installed two saunas and a larger swimming pool, which was great news for the kids! Nice location for biking and walking, as well as for excursions to Lipica, Ljubjana, Predjama, Postojna,... There were only two things that surprised us: we had some very hard winds and (thunder)storms during the night, and the church bells 130 times at 6AM, 3PM and 8PM (and a bit more on Sundays). But you get used to it :-)

Very comfortable and spacious appartment. Location is perfect for visiting both Adriatic Sea (less than hour by car to italian coast, about an hour to Piran) and local mountains. We spent intensive week of vacation in a hot weather, but air condition in the appartment was very efficient (and silent!). What to say more? - big thanks for great hospitality!

Blackbird House is perfectly located (within the fortified town on a quiet lane), amazingly well stocked, clean and comfortable. We had wine and coffee on the outside terrace with a beautiful view. Loved it!
