Great welcoming hosts, wonderful area with a lot of space in the green, we loved the homemade bolognese pasta in the evening, close to a wonderful beach… you got to see this. Maud really has an eye for detail when decorating this lovely house. Our kids could feed the chickens. Thanks a lot for hosting us!

Located in Port Elizabeth, in a historic building, 7.2 km from The Boardwalk, Cape Recife Lighthouse Luxury Villa is a recently renovated villa with a private beach area and bar. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests.

Excellent location and very tasteful Interior design. When arriving though, one night think that this is not the place. There is barbed wire and the villa doesn't look like much from the outside. Don't be fooled though. The assistant lighthouse manager welcomes you and is very helpful and kind. You can also visit the lighthouse somewhere between 5 am and 5 pm. The facilities and the kitchen are excellent. You also get an indoor braai (fireplace for cooking). The views from the villa are stunning. And you have the beach almost to yourselves. We saw whales blowing and breaching and took many beautiful pictures of the place at sunset and sunrise. We got an excellent deal and enjoyed our stay very much. One night may be too short...

Many thanks to Mario and his family! We visited their place during our trip in February 2023 for a couple of nights, and it was our best accomodation experience. The house is very comfortable and nice, even luxurious. It is located outside the town, and it was an advantage for us. It will take less than ten minutes drive to get to the beautiful beach with splendid view (but not for swimming). It took us an hour and a half to go to Addo Elephant Park. There are supermarkets not far from the house. The appartment will be perfect for those loving nature and comfortable living. We wish we could have stayed for at least a week. Appartment is fully furnished, there is everything needed and everything is of high quality Very friendly host Splendid views

The private and spacious villas feature large windows and contemporary furnishings. Each are fitted with a lounge, satellite TV and private pool. Extras include linen, a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The host met us at the property for the key. The house is neat & well kept. Location is a bit far from shopping centres, but very safe and secure. Especially for the morning jogs around the neighborhood. All house utensils were available, including an inverter during load shedding - a home away from home. The kids enjoyed the pool, adults enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Will definitely return here. Highly recommend.
