The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

Full kitchen facilities, laundry, ovens, very comfortable sofa, I really feel like home and it's better than home as it's in this beautiful Tekapo! And I love the animals, they are so cute and feeding them is such a good experience. I will come again to this lovely place for star gazing as the weather was so cloudy in the two nights I stayed thus I couldn't see a single star...
