The location is stunning and the caravan exceeded our expectations. The place is difficult to reach without a car, but it really worth the effort. The surroundings are beautiful and the caravan is close to Scafell Pike, Wast Water and other marvellous places in the West part of the Lake District. There are small shops at 15 minutes drive for emergency shopping, otherwise bigger supermarkets and shops are available in the closest cities such as Whitehaven.

    Stayed here for our first family holiday with our three month old baby. The caravan was really clean and comfortable! The bottle of milk and little bits like biscuits, teabags etc were a lovely touch. Location was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the donkeys out the window.

    We stayed in the twin room which didnt have an e-suite bathroom which required scampering through the hallway in your towel. The toilet and shower rooms were also separate rooms with no sink in the toilet. But was clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast.

    The cottage was lovely, clean, warm. All the facilities where there with what we needed. The kids loved every second of our little family holiday especially helping with feeding the cows. They loved it. We will defo be booking again.

    This is an excellent property. A small B&B (just two rooms) so the service is personal without being intrusive. Our room was well equipped, clean and with some nice personal touches. Lesley and John are perfect hosts with entertainment provided by Boris (the dog…) Excellent breakfast of home prepared fayre. We loved it and look forward to a return.
