Caravan was easy to find and in direct location to the shop and restaurant. The pool is a few minutes walk and it's super easy to get to. Staff all friendly on site and thanks to keysafe check in and out was contactless. WiFi was slow but was usable if you need to it's a plus as it kept kids off devices. Board games supplied for rainy days / nights. The play barn was great for little ones.

Excellent value and never seen such a clean caravan before with the heating throughout made it a great stay. Was off season when we visited, but we knew that before our stay. We've used the facilities at 3 lochs before which has plenty to do for all ages. In the description it mentions a swimming pool in Stranraer, however, there's one closer in Newton Stewart which can be used at the Douglas Ewart High School during weekends and school holidays.

The site has lots of facilities bar, entertainment lots for all ages to do or a peaceful retreat if that’s what you want. Nice outside decking area with lovely views across the countryside with amazing sunsets. Peaceful rural location. 5 minute drive to Newton Stewart and 20 mins to the beautiful Galloway Forest Park. Great location for exploring the area. For what you get this accommodation is a great price. Would highly recommend if you want to get away from it all!
