It looks like safari. We were two adults and 3 children. We rented the Bungalow ( it’s old but clean and no need of air conditioning. If you have a car it’s a wonderful peaceful place to stay. We slept very well. The stuffs are so kind and understanding. Much better than the hotel I assure you . As we have different experiences you are better in this small bungalow than the hotel room if you are a family. I recommend it strongly. But be careful to be sure it’s a Bungalow. The traditional one is best if not there are as well à kind of mobile home style Bungalow which are cuite. A bit less expensive but I recommend the traditional. Enjoy your trip it’s a beautiful region ❤️

I loved the location, very close to the beach, restaurants, and the pretty, old part of Grado. The room was comfortable and clean. An extra benefit was the rooftop bar and the swimming pool with hydro massage. The staff was helpful, breakfast tasty and fresh.

The place is almost ideal for a family vacation with children. The only disadvantage is that the good beaches are a bit away, one has to go either with a bike or a car, which however takes only 10-15 min and requires a couple of euros for parking. Generally, Grado is fantastic if one goes in the mid summer since during the hottest hours one can find a lot of cultural entertainment nearby - Basilicas of Grado and Aquiliea and the museum of roman art in Aquilea.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. The bungalow was very clean and there was a feeling of being safe and secure, with valuables safe included. There was a well stocked supermarket and the restaurant gave exceptional value for money with take away facility. The beach was clean as was the sea. The roads were reasonably well maintained and well swept. Although we didn't use the swimming pools they looked very clean. Altogether very good value for money.

The location is nice but it causes issues with plenty of mosquitoes that sitting outside after 7 pm is almost impossible. Besides the Wi-Fi doesn’t work all neither at bungalow nor in common areas. The Calaguna-1 subnet drops connections every few seconds. We liked the swimming pool and animations for our kinds. The air conditioning available at the bungalow is something which shall stress to be comfortable.
