Everything was just really nice. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are amazingly big and comfortable, we enjoyed the private jacuzzi. From our terrace, the pool and the dining area, the view is just fantastic. Food was also good, and from the hotel, there are so many nice hikes to go to before relaxing at the pool.

Simply delightful! Like a very comfortable tree house. Gorgeous views amazing terrace and so many lovely places in the garden and grounds. We lived taking the kayaks on the lake. Some of the reviews mention the road down... its just a few hundred metres and we managed fine in an SUV.

We were in many vacation houses around the globe... QUINTA GERÊS is definitely one of the best! Live in nature, infinite outdoor space with pool and jacuzzi, special interior design,... Everything looks even better than in pictures. Miguel (the owner) is always available for any questions. Highly recommended property for big families or 8 adults.

The staff check in and check out process was very comfortable and easy going. They had one of the most complete kitchens I have seen, very modern and clean. We had a room with two glass walls facing the river and the forest from the top of the mountain! Just imagine drinking coffee on the balcony at the top of the cliff! The bed was really comfortable and big, the room had air-conditioner. The breakfast was really good, the restaurant also has glass walls and amazing view. The swimming pool was clean.

The bedrooms were modern and spotless with comfortable beds and nice linen. We were pleasantly surprised to find air-con in the bedrooms which meant everyone slept well in the heatwave. The gardens were immaculately kept and the swimming pool was the highlight. We were in it non-stop. It was a lovely bolt-hole in the countryside and we were happy to just be there.

For anyone looking to connect with nature, have quiet time with breathtaking views this is the place. Hotel is small, around 15 rooms. However, it has a spacious room, a lovely swimming pool area, patio with an amazing view for the Geres lake. The hotel had good variety during breakfast. The room has already "lived" well but was quite comfortable! The terrace we enjoyed offered a magnificent view of the valley and the sunset! Breakfast very well made and the staff were very helpful (placing a fridge in the room, without having asked for it, for our fresh products). The swimming pool and the surrounding park constitute a real added value.
