this place is an absolute gem, tucked in the jungle of North Thailand, amidst rice fields and mountains. we loved staying in our little bungalow wandering around the stunning grounds every day, which consist of woodland and jungle and rivers, with beautiful little paths and different views to see at every turn. the place feels very rustic - our little bungalow had a super comfy bed, with bamboo and wood detailing, and a nice balcony. it felt like a luxury hotel meets glamping 😀 we loved listening to the frogs singing every night, and heading out on adventures each day to see the caves, the hot springs, and other local spots. the bicycles were really handy, as we didn’t have a car. we were able to cycle to local cafes and restaurants the staff and the owner were so friendly - they drove us to the 7-11 one day, to the bus station, and even on a mini tour of Chiang Dao! it was great being able to use the gym, get a massage, and order room service I would highly recommend a few days here for anyone looking for a little jungle retreat and a base to see some of the quieter parts of northern Thailand - the caves and hot springs in particular are fabulous, as is the cycling around the back roads past the rice paddies
