Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. Beautiful surroundings, though the mist took away some of the pleasure. The cottage is very good and well equipped. The landlord is very good, friendly and welcoming. My friend and I arrived late (after midnight) by rental car from Halifax. He (the landlord) was waiting for us and directed us to our cottage. We really appreciated this kind service.

The cottages offer a private balcony and wood floors. They also have a seating area and satellite TV. The cabin was spacious and well equipped with stove, fridge, each from heated with separate thermostats,and an AC (which we never needed) and a laundry room on premises. There as a covered porch with chairs facing a beautiful view of the mountains. It is close to a supermarket and a wonderful bakery/cafe. We were there for a week and a half but could have stayed much longer. The host was very friendly and helpful. It would be perfect for a long term stay like a month or more. There is also a path leading down to a famous trout and salmon river, the Margaree River and it is gorgeous.

The cottage (we stayed in the red one) had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our unit was spotless, the beds very comfortable and true to the reviews. The cottages were quiet and the views very nice looking out to the Atlantic. Marcus our host was friendly and the few questions we had before arriving were answered very quickly. On our arrival he explained how to use the air and heat and gave us directions to the town of Lunenburg which was a few minutes away.

Each of the cottages are fitted with wood beamed ceilings. They all include BBQ facilities, satellite TV and a DVD player. Some have a full kitchen, while others enjoy a kitchenette for the preparation of light meals. A hairdryer can be found in that bathroom. Very clean cabin with a lot of space and amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable, and there was access to a pool, walking trails and laundry facilities. Great place. The owners were very welcoming and provided great information on the area.
