The staff was lovely and helpful.

The property features lake and garden views, and is 21 km from Fiordland Cinema. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and organising tours for guests. We stayed in the small cabin for 3 very rainy nights and it was comfortable. There was a little heater in the cabin co we were warm during the night. The whole place is a little bit outdated, but it has nice charm. Staff was very friendly. We used barbecue one night- it is under the roof so you don’t have to worry about rain. Two blocks with showers- for free!!, toilets were clean. Kitchen was clean with nice dining area. There was a small room with tv and heaps of dvd movies- watched Lord of the rings on the rainy day. There is also laundry which we didnt use. Close to the lake and church pub!

There is a gazebo with cooking facilities. Merrill was super accommodating! The huts were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The shared kitchen and bathroom was tidy and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would both return in a heartbeat! Great launching pad to go and check out hikes in the surrounding area.
