We had dinner one night, 3 adults and a child and it was what we expected and we were all happy with our meals. The swimming pool was a big hit, especially with our 3 year old grandson. It was lovely and warm, which was a bonus. The staff were very helful and accommodating at check in as we had made a mistake in our booking with one of the rooms.MillsFamily with young children

The bar and breakfast areas were nice (smart, clean and tidy). The choice of breakfast was more than I expected. I couldn't resist going for a full English breakfast, toast, and a cafe latte. The rooms were larger than I expected, and well-appointed for the price. The only issue we had was the extractor fans were not working in the bathrooms. Hard-working staff, great rooms. Nonsense requirement to book a time for breakfast - no other Covid precautions (such as staff wearing masks) were in force so why this? Apparently to prevent over-crowding due to a full hotel - in the end, people turned up when they wanted and there was no crowding.
