What an amazing place! If you love nature and want to relax and be away from civilization this is the place for you. It is simple accommodation, but beautifully made and so serene. The garden and especially the pristine clear river right next to the property are a highlight of. There is also an amazing waterfall good for swimming 20minute walk away. Food is also good and the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay at Zakua! Juan, André and their family were great hosts. Collected us and dropped us off in Santa Marta and Tayrona park. Near to the enchanted lagoon, Juan took us on a tour to the lagoon which I would 100% recommend. Had so much fun and the tent was comfy and had a TV and air con. The pool is great to cool off in too! Food was readily available. Depends on the restaurant. The more expensive restaurant had better seasoned food. Prices are still cheaper in this city. The check-in was easy, friendly bilingual staff. The view and sound of the ocean was perfect all night. For years I've played ocean or rainstorm white noise in my room in my house. This was the REAL thing. Truly Amazing! The canoes and kayak on the Rio river is fun. The drinks tasted fantastic a little weak but failed to mention I like them strong, barista was very friendly and polite. Everyone else seemed cool happy and chill, I was with my girlfriend we felt safe.
