The hosts were absolutely lovely and exceeded expectations in terms of making us comfortable. Everything was immaculate. Our room was spacious with many amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the location as well. It was within walking distance to the rail station and bike hire, but also close to restaurants, gift shops, and the center of Okehampton. The breakfasts were divine! Another nice touch was that the hosts, Lesley and Mark, provided an extensive library of guidebooks about the area for those who wanted to walk, hike, or bike in order to explore Dartmoor National Park.

Well linked to the M5, this 15th-century manor house stands in 4 acres of gardens, with glorious countryside views and a rich history. Collaven Manor is in the North West of Dartmoor. Built of granite and covered in creeper plants, the manor has a traditional English feel.

Lovely welcoming host, loads of extras, comfiest bed I’ve prob ever slept in on the whole well worth £90/100 an only paid £54. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!!!

The access to walks on Dartmoor were exellent, especially Lydford Gorge. The room was prepared by the time we arrived and was super clean. Breakfast was really delicious and plentiful. What sold it for us is its super pet friendly (except the breakfast room which is fair) and Maya our border collie loved staying there, plenty of garden to run around. Jakes and Jane were lovely hosts, thank you both ❤️
