The cabin was beautiful.everything was so clean and smell nice, much love and effort were putting into the place. Views to die for, on the shore of the lake, under the snowy mountains.highly recommend. You do need to know that you have limited time in the shower before you run out of hot water, but it's more than enough for a nice shower.

Out of 7 times visiting Iceland, we never stopped in Stykkisholmur - this was long overdue. I think we picked the perfect place to enjoy this town, as Monika was an outstanding host. We pretty much had the guesthouse all to ourselves, as a group of 7 people. We enjoyed all the nice touches from the owner, all the little extras like some food in the fridge, 2 types of coffee to choose from in the morning, and the games and books in the living room. We were a bit in a rush to continue our tour and head back to Keflavik the next day, which was our only regret as we could not enjoy the guesthouse a bit longer.
