One of the closest guesthouses to speedboat. Quick check in after long day on boat. Owner made sandwich next day for slow boat Owns bakery opposite, went in and had breakfast to support local businesses. Room had everything I needed for one night. Good value. Quiet.

Their Guesthouse was a great experience! If you are one of the slow boat travelers this is the perfect place for you. Free taxi pickup and dropoff to the pier. Very quiet at night and an unforgettable view from the balcony. The rooms itself are spacious, the beds very comfortable and clean. Towels were provided and the family was very friendly and welcoming. The lunch and breakfast in the morning was affordable and a good portion

Stayed for one night during the 2 day slow boat to Luang Prabang. Perfect location as it’s a 2 min walk from the pier no need for taxi. Room was really nice and clean, A/C worked well. Made us the most amazing breakfast sandwich the next morning to take onto the boat with us

was pretty nice and we had a great view from the shared balcony. the owner was very nice and even gave us a morning reminder of when we were being dropped off at the pier. he brought us over nice and early so we were able to get good seats for the boat. breakfast was good.

He escorted me to the guesthouse. My room was clean and there was a small table and chairs outside so I could sit for a while. It’s less than 5 minutes walk from where the boars come in, opposite a lovely restaurant. Owner was helpful and young son a good host! Perfect for what I needed.JoySolo traveller
