Considering what Pak Beng is, this place was clean, well kept, quiet when I was there, second floor hall/ balcony had a little table outside overlooking the street. Hot water. Fan is adequate as Pak Beng is cool at night. Towels d smelled clean. Walking distance to everything. Door locks work. Screens are good. Quality little place.

Staff and location. The owner met me at the pier and drove me only about 2 minutes away to a nice, clean room. As my boat was leaving early the next morning he prepared take away breakfast for me. Very helpful and friendly!
