I'm really happy of my choice. Experienced host with tons of funny stories and very professional attitude. Provided company was definitely added value to my stay. It was out of the season, but still there was a couple of rooms occupied. Nevertheless shared facilities were always exceptionally clean. Kitchen was in adjacent building, which to me was a benefit since I could use it freely at night. Although I've chosen economic room everything was nice and looked good. I've even decided to stay longer and received an upgrade. I really liked location because it's in the middle between beach and frequently visited shops. It's not often I can give top rate. It was very good choice.

The entire building was spotless, inside and out: newly decorated/refurbished and recently given a thorough clean. The terrace is huge and has both shade and sunshine throughout daylight hours. Nighttime was lovely too, especially when the stars were out. Being a penthouse, most noise from the street can't be heard. We arrived quite late in the evening and were delighted to discover that the beach and restaurants were closer to the apartment than we had originally thought (about 2 or 3 minutes on foot). Two enormous pizzas later, we were treated to a beautiful sunset on the beach before sauntering back to the flat for a very comfortable night's sleep. This apartment is absolutely ideal for a couple who wants a long weekend away. Any longer and you're going to need a kitchen, which this place doesn't offer. No meals are provided, but there is plenty of help-yourself coffee and tea, as well as a fridge and breakfast bar to sit at. There is a door-to-door bus service from the train station to the flat (number 10) but we got into a taxi that fortunately was right there waiting for us! It's a pretty easy walk too (about 25 minutes, if you know the way). Although we could barely speak a word of each other's languages, the host's friendly demeanour meant we felt very welcomed. It's amazing what you can understand with body language and situation alone!
