I don't know where to start! Rossana kindly waited for us on our arrival (1.30 am!) and despite late hour showed and explained everything we might need, there were some local type of pastries on the arrival in our room. We stayed in the bigger room with ocean view (3 of us) and a room was perfect, its big so you don't feel like there is no space for a group of friends. Balcony with a view - great! Breakfast was good, everything you need for a day full of adventure. You could also use the microwave, dishes, fridge (amazing!) located in the breakfast room. Cinnamon liquor made by Matriz house (owners) is 11/10, we wish we had checked in baggage for flight to buy some big bottles. If you need, you can also do laundry in the house (for an extra pay), but that's also is great feature of staying. Very accommodating, we have felt very welcomed and it was just GREAT! I just don't have words to recommend it enough. Thank you so much for the amazing time, you were part of it.

Everything was perfect. Best place I stayed on the Azores. The host welcomed me and provided me with a map with his favorite places and restaurants marked. The bed was so comfortable. The place was clean and in a beautiful setting.

The house is centrally located and within easy reach by car of any other point in the island. The ideal location to explore the island. This was one of our absolute favorite places we have stayed. The host was very helpful and friendly. The house was beautiful with plenty of space to hangout in the common areas. Rooms were big and there were large bathrooms. Some rooms share bathrooms and some have a private bathroom. Beautifully maintained yard. Breakfast provided in the morning. The kitchen had labeled cabinets and spaces in the fridge to store your items. Everything you needed to be able to cook was provided. All of the cabinets were labeled with the contents to help assist finding things. Washer and dryer available to use during your stay. We loved spending time with the hosts and other guests there. Location of the house was perfect. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Fairly centrally located on the island making it easy to visit the entire island but still close to the airport. Host also works with a local massage therapist/acupuncturist that will come to the house for massages and acupuncture- the price was great and the massages were the best we’ve ever had. We dream of the day we can go back!

Beautiful home! Very well appointed and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was especially nice, but since the weather was a bit cooler we didn’t use it too much. Parking was easy and we had a big van. Good space for lots of people. Quiet little town but easy to drive to all the sites in São Miguel.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment for the whole family or larger group. Having a rental car the location was excellent to reach any place of interest on the island. There is also a bus stop across the main road but we have never used it. Great communication with the owner through the Whatsup. Overall we had a very nice stay.

I really enjoyed my stay! The host was incredibly helpful, polite and professional, I've also enjoyed the interesting conversations with him! The room was spotlessly clean and had a large private bathroom with a big bathtub. The location is great, since it's centrally located and quickly allowed me to reach any part of the island in the rented car (there's also plenty of parking around the house). The kitchen was available and fully equipped, but I haven't really used it as I ate out everyday. I did enjoy being able to do the laundry as I travelled with small luggage.
