The hosts are very nice! They offered us some welcome and goodbye cake. The place was very clean and quiet, we had balcony, huge room, living area. The breakfast was great and we could taste a lot of local and home made food.

João is such a friendly and open person. He welcomed me warmly and showed me his great property. The rented part is a little paradise. Three accomendations in the backyard, however very private and close to nature. Made with love. The location is optimal for excursions and adventures in the area. I can only recommend staying at this heartwarming place!

We loved our stay at Casa da Flor. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked brand new! Breakfast every morning was great and we enjoyed chatting with other guests. The location is great to explore all areas of the island. We were always able to find parking on the street and loved the quiet atmosphere of the city.

Everything was excellent, the area has an amazing beach and breathtaking cliffs, very close you reach the lakes, the thermal baths, the Furnas. The house is located in the center which has a huge waterfall and splendid architecture. The accomodation was just 10+, the room lovely, the cleanliness perfect, the kitchen that had absolutely everything you need for cooking your own food. People around such good vibes and the small garden echoes with birds at breakfast. It was an amazing experience, I will surely return. Much love and thank you for everything❣️

This was one of our absolute favorite places we have stayed. The host was very helpful and friendly. The house was beautiful with plenty of space to hangout in the common areas. Rooms were big and there were large bathrooms. Some rooms share bathrooms and some have a private bathroom. Beautifully maintained yard. Breakfast provided in the morning. The kitchen had labeled cabinets and spaces in the fridge to store your items. Everything you needed to be able to cook was provided. All of the cabinets were labeled with the contents to help assist finding things. Washer and dryer available to use during your stay. We loved spending time with the hosts and other guests there. Location of the house was perfect. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Fairly centrally located on the island making it easy to visit the entire island but still close to the airport. Host also works with a local massage therapist/acupuncturist that will come to the house for massages and acupuncture- the price was great and the massages were the best we’ve ever had. We dream of the day we can go back!

Beautiful home! Very well appointed and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was especially nice, but since the weather was a bit cooler we didn’t use it too much. Parking was easy and we had a big van. Good space for lots of people. Quiet little town but easy to drive to all the sites in São Miguel.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment for the whole family or larger group. Having a rental car the location was excellent to reach any place of interest on the island. There is also a bus stop across the main road but we have never used it. Great communication with the owner through the Whatsup. Overall we had a very nice stay.

I loved pretty much everything about my stay here. First of all Orlando is such a great host, he really wants you to enjoy your time in his home island, he shared a lot of great tips and recommendations and I learned a lot from him about the culture and history of Acores islands and Portugal. Second, the room and the house are really nice - the room is spacious, spotless and well situated, you have groceries nearby, beach and it’s a convenient location to drive around and discover the island.
